By clicking on the pictures above, you can learn how you can help raise money for New Salem Elementary while grocery shopping! It wont cost you anything but a few minutes of your time to register for these great programs but the benefits to New Salem Elementary could be worth hundreds of dollars!
Below are several additional ways that you can help New Salem Elementary raise money for computers, software, sports equipment, books, and other educational materials. All of our lives are busy and these are ways for all of us to help with very little time or effort involved.
PIZZA COUPONS
Buy a pizza coupon for $10.00, take the coupon to Polk Mountain Grocery on New Salem Rd., and purchase a Hunt Brothers pizza. New Salem will receive $4.00 of every coupon sold.
INVEST IN A CHILD
New Salem students can seek donations from parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, neighbors, or anyone who would wish to contribute directly to the school. This is a tax deductible donation. Invest in a Child will be our major fundraiser this year since we will not be having the BBQ.
Office Depot is "Taking Care of Education in 2007"! Every time parents, students and school supporters give our school's 5% Back to Schools ID number when buying qualifying school supplies at Office Depot, OUR school receives credits equal to 5% of the qualifying purchases to use for FREE SUPPLIES ! New Salem's ID number is 70061826
GENERAL MILLS-BOX TOPS
FOR EDUCATION
Clip the Box Top logo from participating General Mills
products and send them to school with your children. We
make 10 cents for each box top. There will be a box
located at the front entrance as well as cereal boxes in each
classroom to collect these box tops. Look for these
Box Top logos on all General Mills cereals (Cheerios, Chex,
Wheaties, etc.), Fruit Snacks, Yoplait products, and all Betty
Crocker products have been included for this school year. Box
Tops are now available on over 330 products! This dramatically
increases our earning potential, so start clipping!
HARRIS TEETER-TOGETHER
IN EDUCATION (TIE)
New Salem can earn money each time you use your VIC card. Simply
give the cashier your VIC card and New Salem's account number
(2918). You only need to link your VIC card once each
school year. Once you are linked and use your VIC card,
New Salem will get 2% (4% in August) of HT private label purchases. During
upcoming months, many national brands, such as Kellogg's cereals
and Keebler products, will also contribute 2%. Look
for the Together in Education labels on the shelves.
BI-LO BOOSTERS
We will also continue with Bi-Lo Boosters. You need
a BONUS card and call 1-877-4-BOOSTERS or go online at www.bi-lo.com
to sign up. Our organization number is 4998.
TARGET GUEST CARD
If you have a Target Guest Card, sign up for the Target
Take Charge of Education program by calling 1-800-316-6142
and designate New Salem as your school choice. If you
shop at Target and use your Target Guest Card, the school
will receive 1% of your total purchase.
ONLINE SHOPPING
We will also participate in two online fundraising programs. These
programs provide cash rebates to our school every time you
shop online through these sites. We will receive 3-30%
cash rebates from your purchases. These sites are easy
to use and represent over 250 merchants, selling books, clothing,
music, toys, computers, ... If you shop online, please
visit these site first and select New Salem to receive these
rebates.
